Last Thursday, at the invitation of JWhite518, I joined a passel of ST.Net riders for dinner on their Bay Area stop-over heading from SoCal to Fortuna for WCRM IV (whatever that stands for :blink: ). There were probably 15 of us at dinner, including the local ST.Net gang members who came to greet their SoCal brothers and sisters and help escort them in, around, and through the Bay Area.
Here's a link to a couple of photos. You may recognize a blue, dual-headlight rocket machine in the pack. As for the restaurant, well, that's my left shoulder at far right behind the fellow looking up at the waiter.
The beauty of it for me was that the rendezvous location was in Dublin, just four blocks from the client site where I'm working these days. And Fang wasn't going to be home for dinner anyway. And it was in the direction of my way home.... How could I say no to a bunch of fellow enthusiasts? Met a bunch of local riders I hope to see again, even if they don't ride FJRs.... :glare:
