I use these instead:

They are a Gold Wing accessory. I'll look and see if I have a part number or link...

Edit: Found it. I ordered part number "BBH15407 Trunk Cubby Net for GL1800, GL1500" from "CycleGiant.com / WingStuff.com", $7.99 each.

Russ is right, they're not elastic....... but I have a set if you want them and don't need them mailed to you until late September when I'll be on your side of the border again. You'll owe me a cold beverage one day.....

I need the internal elastic straps for one side case. Does anyone have a crashed case they might sell a strap from?
Is it me? When did Mammy Yammy install elastic straps in the side cases? Methinks you may have something besides OEM.
The OEM side cases I ordered from Partzilla came with straps. They velcro in the corners and have a snap connection in the middle. I'm pretty sure they are elastic.

Not elastic on my '06. But somehow they are different from one side to the other. One has a red release tab and the other's is black. However, I do like the netting idea from bergmen! May have to look into that.

Mine has only one, on the left side - I figured to prevent stuff falling out when opened on side stand..

Yeah, these are one of the first gizmos I got after getting my '014. They really work well and are easy-peezy to use. I highly recommend them and they are very inexpensive to boot.

RaYzerman19's generous has been offer accepted by PM.

Please forgive my misstatement about them being elastic! My grievous BAD!

I saw them hanging there and ASSUMED that they were elastic like those in my dear, departed ST1100.

Thanks to all for your advice and input. Great forum.

Curses, Foiled again!

I just checked the strap, hoping for vindication but, nooooooo! I was wrong. They are, indeed, NON-elastic nylon web straps.

RATS!
