Pretty sure I want y'all to service my Gen III forks. Would dearly love to do the complete upgrade, but it's not in the cards this year.

Regardless, at 39,000 miles, the forks are definitely in need of refreshing. We'll be talking.

That is a fine looking '07 with the Penske! Wish it was that clean right now! Highly recommend their upgrade!

PENSKE SHOCK SERVICE:
Chemical/waste $10

Good thing is I can save on the waste, bad is I lost the oil a thousand miles from home in Nova Scotia.

You fixed my broken Penske three way on the 2012 group buy and I hope you can fix it again! I rode it home with no oil and I have a bad feeling the shock is toast.

Mailing forks and shock out now.

If you are sitting on the fence, wondering about whether a $1500-2000 suspension upgrade will really make that much difference, the answer is YES!

Best farkle ever on the bike, and it should have been my first.

I assume you got a new shock. What did you do to the front end? I'd like to get rid of that head shake on decel thing.

CJ

I'm in for sure. GP completely transformed my bike back in 09.

Hope to ship 'em out this week for freshening up.

CJ, they did the front end. Not the cartridge upgrade, but valves, springs etc. Big difference, more planted in corners, no pillowy doughboy handling.

Rear shock was the top model Ohlins. Had the upgrade done in 09, then serviced last year after 15k miles. Haven't done tons of riding on the FJR since the KTM 1190R came to play.

Just toasted my credit card with a full upgrade front and back. Economically it makes no sense whatsoever since I'm the lowest of low mileage riders. 5,000 miles a year if I'm lucky.

Once in a blue moon I just go with "I want it!". A mad-money slush fund and an understanding wife really helps.

If you're riding on the stock suspension, you're going to kick yourself for not doing it sooner.

It'll be like getting a new bike for a lot less money. :)
