I Owe a 05, and i thinking about GPS.

Any information about how i turn this on the bike.

I mean, how i can conect a lighter cigarrete to charge the GPs....

Any help is appreciated.

I installed a female cigarette lighter plug that I bought from Amazon, with a direct connect to the battery. (Just cut off the clamps and put on a ring connector). I am not concerned about current draw when the bike is off, since I turn off the GPS then, and besides, the current draw on the GPS is small.

I use a RAM mount on the brake reservoir to hold the gps.

Get a Garmin Zumo. Comes with a mount and can be hardwired to the bike's electrical system. You'll need to install RAM-mount though .. THe stem-nut can be drilled to accept a RAM ball or replace it entirely. Or you can mount a RAM ball on the brake/clutch handlebar brackets, or find the guy on this forum that makes a bracket that mounts on the gas tank bolts.
