What a great finish!

I know it was a battle for 2nd place, but ultimately, some great racing on a difficult course. It doesn't look like there were many places for a pass. One straight and one turn seemed to be the only thing that was available. Rossi was stellar! He played defense very well. Melandri was equally great with his aggressive late braking.

Uneventful for Nicky, other than getting a few points.

Capirossi did OK overall.

Oh yeah, and Pedrosa was awesome too!

Rossi is very smart, he's very keen to mistakes other riders make and uses it to his advantage just as he did in the last lap, after he was passed. He waited instinctively and paid off several corners later. Great race, that was exciting to watch.

For pure racing, I think this is the best MotoGP season in quite a few years.

As much as I enjoy watching the display of pure skill that is Rossi, this years battles are even better, IMNSHO.
