grip puppies and heated grips

I know this is the wrong time of year to ask, however I just got grip puppies and was wondering if they,ll work with my heated grips when the weather turns cold???

Takes a little longer to warm up.......but they work just fine.

+1 they take a (very) little longer, and I am sure they dont get AS hot, but they work fine!!!

There is a point at which they don't work...... I usually roll the grip puppies off when it gets down to 5C or around 40F. Then the rest of the heated gear comes out too. I don't usually ride when the roads are frosty and slippy, but if the sun's out, good to go.

Not a problem . . may take a little longer to heat up . . . when it gets 40f and below I put the v-strom hand guards on anyhow which is more to protect the tops of my hands from the cold

No problems with mine. Takes a while to heat up but they stay warmer longer with the grips on. :specool:

Mine work great down to 30 degrees. Hell, sometimes my hands start to burn and I need to turn the heat down. Puppies take longer to warm up as others noted, but I'm happy with the setup.

I've got the dual star kit coming in and will be under BMW grips. I opted out for heat-troller and will be sticking with a 3-way switch. Should I have ordered the troller or will the swtich meet most of my needs?

I've got the Dual Stars under my stock grips with the hi low toggle switch. Works fine for me. I opted for the nicer looking switch you have to pay a little extra for, but it looks much better than the basic chrome toggle that comes with them.

Why do you need heated grips?
