Also, in the latest issue of Motorcyclist, there is a small feature in the news briefs spread that speculates a new FJR 1400 is coming out this winter. There's an illustration of what looks like a smoothed out version of today's body style. The rumor came from Europe, which could also point to a "World Edition" Here's a link to an image of the article as printed. The bike pictured looks like something from Space: 1999.

You mean like the 19 or 20 other times it's been mentioned on this forum since 2008 and yet again today? Please keep this particular NEPRT speculation in the other thread please.
Sorry, I don't have any idea what "NEPRT" means. Not an acronym I know,

And I don't grok the condescending and chastising tone of your response.

I responded directly to a new discussion about the 2013 models...with a link to information that was recently published in a mainstream magazine... (not some random post from my idle daydreaming)... in the thread where the question was raised. Can't find anything in appropriate about that.

Real world knowledge: People follow a thread or conversation, not a taxonomy. The core of effective communication is making information available in as many forms and locations as people are expecting to find it.

Besides, can;t you just move the thread if you don't like where it was started? Once it's started, it will continue where it is....

Great. Another newbie that wants to get lippy after they said they read and agreed to the terms when they signed up....but didn't really.

Fine. Fixed it for 'ya. You're gonna love #7 if you ever bother to read it...it's probably friendlier than the mob of Fosterites. ;)

While I agree with the general sentiment I also know that forums are successful when there is high signal to noise ratio. And seeing as how this particular rumor and speculation has been repeated for 4 years now in at least 20 dedicated threads and countless other posts--the same regurgitated speculation has long become noise.

If you, however, believe what you say...YOU should put it on your website(s) several dozen times and catch up! I believe you have it Zero times currently....or at least I couldn't find it anywhere I was expecting it. The only thing I found about "FJR1400" on your domain was a copy of a probably copyrighted PDF file cribbed from Motorcycle Consumer news and a broken link. :p
