I have worked with a Vendor to set up this Group Buy. I am not affiliated with the Vendor, but have done (and know many others) that have done business with them and not had any problems. I have this Group Buy listed on several forums so we can have a better chance of getting the minimum of 10 buyers.

Would need a minimum of 10 units (any Sena Headset) purchased in order to get the discount. Normal Price is $164.25 (SMH10R) and free shipping. Discount would be 10%

How it will work: Once there are 10 units spoken for I will provide you with the discount code and website info for ordering. You will order and pay for it and the unit will be shipped to you aprox 1 week after the Group Buy closes.

If you want to know who the vendor is I can PM you that info.

What if someone wanted to buy the double set or perhaps even an SMH5? Would the vendor still grant a 10% discount from the regular price? I already bought mine 2 weeks ago, but just thought I'd ask. You might want to either list the various prices for the different units or reveal the vendor so that interested forum members could look at their prospective prices.

One of our Forum members (Alex) is already giving a 10 percent discount to Forum members and his Sena prices are lower than your vendor's. I paid $256 for a Sena SMH10 dual pack and that included shipping.

The discount is good for ANY Sena Headset

Go crap in someone else's thread. If you don't like my group buy then don't participate. (And how do you know what my Vendor's prices are? I didn't list who the vendor was and only listed the price for ONE item)

I checked Alex's website and his listed prices are the SAME as my vendor's. And he doesn't even list the SMH10R

I dont think he was trying to "CRAP" on your thread---- he has been a member since 2005 -- over 1,300 posts and 37 people
have said he is FJR knowledgeable

.... as opposed to member since January with 19 posts.

So...... chill .... and be nice.

The Sena headset is very good stuff and thanks for getting together the group buy.

I just ordered mine (from yet another vendor with equivalent prices and free shipping) so I'm out, sorry

I have a dual set of SMH10 and love them. I would not mine getting a second dual set of SMH10 just to have if the price is right :)

Timing is everything, I just bought an SMH10 headset from Revzilla about two weeks ago. If the price is right, I could be tempted to purchase a second unit for another helmet.

Thanks, Baz

Damn it. I just ordered a SHM10 a few days ago and it just showed up in the mail today. Timing is everything.

Just saw your comments and it appears that I made a mistake in price by comparing a SMH10R to a SMH10 but since you have compared Alex's prices to your vendor's and found them to be the same, why would anyone buy from a unknown vendor with strings attached when they could buy the same item from a long time Forum member who also is a FJR Owner? I never intended to crap on your thread since you are new on the Forum and probably not aware of Alex's full time Forum discount offer but it's there, has been for a long time, and will continue to be available.

What is his website? I am going to buy a double set of these and would like to give the business to a forum member first.

Thanks for the support guys! I actually now carry and have in stock all Sena's product's. We are in the process of updating to a new site that will list all of them.

I don't usually weigh in, but remind people of several things:

1) GBs are "not recommended for....forum newbies." I don't think the OP heeded that advice with less than 2 dozen posts at creation time. It probably would have been better to assess viability first. Oh well, people will choose themselves whether to participate or not.

2) "If you can't say anything nice, or want to second-guess the organizer...don't say anything at all." It's probably subjective whether pointing out another vendor price may be comparable or not....but just remind everybody that maybe the best course is not to say anything and have faith that our members are big boys and girls.

3) Alex I love 'ya and you're one of the few vendor/members we allow on the board...but probably not the best idea to post in here.

Special GB Thread Rules are a reminder in case you haven't seen them or want to reread.

As the OP opened this thread 2 months ago and only has himself on the list of potential purchasers...I think this thread has more than run its course. The OP can PM me if he wants to reopen.
