Hand guards for FJR

I know there's a thread somewhere on the site that discusses hand guards, but I can't seem to find it...

I'm interested in mounting hand guards onto an '04 non-abs that has heated grips (not factory, the foil type that go under the grip), an NEP throttle lock (lever on top), and HVMP heavy bar ends. Any suggestions? I've heard that V-Strom guards work, are there different versions?
