handle bar adjustment

well i changed the windshield, firmed up the ride, took the play out of the throtle grip. now i want to move the bars. i took off the plate covering. do i loosen both hex nuts? is there anything i have to be carefull of?

I'm assuming you've figured this out already, or by now.

Maybe you did a search

But yep, you take that little cover off, take both bolts out, lift up, the clip on is pinned, has two other positions. one farther forward one farther rearward.

There are some that have sheared off the outer ping to get adjustment of a radial nature. I'm not suggesting that, but it's up to you.
