a best birthday presents every year...I joined the forum Dec 2nd of '08 and it was a top 10 best thing to do...
MY DEEPEST HEARTFUL THANX TO EVERYONE'S KIND WORDS AND SWEET EXPRESSIONS ON MY BIRTHDAY. IT WAS A VERY GOOD DAY WITH FAMBLY SHARING AND
MY BIRTHDAY MEAL PREPARED BY MY AIW (Angelic Italian Wifey). And like an old Burger King commercial...I got "it" my way !!!
It was also special once got beyond the sadness of a friend's Dad's passing. Mr Ted was a Navy Vet during the Korean War and it's much easier to be a PGR coordinator for the family when the deceased h...as led a long, profitable life. The arrangements were done quite quickly and no Navy honor guard was available with such short notice. It was special to be asked to fold the casket flag and present it to Mr Ted's wife. I carry around a few renditions of "Taps" on my MP3 with a small but loud set of speakers. My fav is called "echo taps" where two buglers play in harmony, shadowing each other. There wasn't a dry eye in the house including me who has heard it dozens of times. I don't wear mirror sunglasses at missions for nuthin' !!!
53 and can still do a 45 minute mile...well with an armed mugger chasing me !!! :dribble:
THANX AGAIN...MY HEART IS WARMED...NOW TO GO PICK UP ISABELLA AND RIDE HER TILL SHE'S EMPTY !!!
(brought Isabella to my independent shop who found the valves adjust centered, a bit of air in the front brake system, and evidence of rodents living in my air cleaner...like clogged with poop and granules of rodent poison...I'm picking her up tomorrow) :clapping:
Came home and had to rescue my cake: :yahoo:
