The Battle Born State's Birthday and a great weather forecast were enough to put me on the bike for a couple of days

Not a bizzillion miles, but a few nice "Nevada-Style" spots, ....For me, not a better way to celebrate my state's birthday.

FJR definately had some fun, but a real whore when a mule came around and had it's way with my bike.

Awesome stuff John :clapping: You ever get lost way out there?
Sometimes a bit lost ...but that is the fun part.

Awesome pics. Probably the best time of year weather wise. Thanks for the ride along.
The weather was stellar, but I was lucky more than anything else. Last week cold wind and snow, it was below freezing up until the day rode out there ....you never know this time of year. the roads were in as good of shape as I've ever seen them though.

Great pics John :clapping: Now to locate the places on the NV map.
Yep, if you're not familiar, you definitely want a map :)

As always John, kick *** ride report. But I've got to ask, was that a for sale sticker hastily torn off the windshield of the Feej?

This is exactly what RJ looked like when he meandered up to the HondaRosa last year?

Whiskey? Steak? Hot Tubes? Heifers?

Love ya RJ, Rock on Dude..

That is one beautiful little gal, John. Are you any relation?

Gotta ask. Why weren't you on the ChubStrom?
Hard to believe, but they keep promising me that indeed we are related

No, that is remnants of a sticker I put on for a particular bonus on the Utah1088 rally. I don't wash the bike much (ever) and it is taking a while to wear off.

As always John you always find the coolest stuff. I like your pet donkeys.
Oh yeah, how much was that jerky?
LOL Jerky, Freakin' weird. I was at the WildKat ranch when a young girl from town ran in ....she had discovered the guy filleting the guinea pigs on the kitchen counter. She was really freaked out. Weird **** out there.

I forsee another hondarosa escapade in the coming months ....I'm a bit more mature now, ...well not much.

John- Always awesome, always interesting ride reports. :yahoo: You always seem to hit the jewels of the Silver State. Great stuff, thanks for the ride along.

I think those two donkey's could smell Bust on your bike. Bust might give up sheep for those two. ;)

Once again My Friend, a truly outstanding FJR Ride Report! I loved the Memorial Plaque for Belmont: "English-Irish feuds flared frequently...!" I think Old Michael, ShinyPartsUps and BeemerDonS need to take Fairlaner to Belmont Inn for a drink!!

I'd join ya, but they didn't say Scots or Danes feuded there. ;)

LOL LOL That's the great part about history Mr. Wheaton, always the opportunity to add to it. The book ain't closed on Belmont, or any other village out here for that matter.

Bring it on out here ...and we'll feud until they re-write the plaque. Ain't no better place to feud than the battle born state. Hey, just to show support, I'll throw the first punch --

--cheers from this Irish, German, Scandinavian mutt.
