Happy Fathers Day all! If you still have your dad around, treasure each day. Time passes much too quickly.

Sitting in bed reading the forum after having a small breakfast served to me by the kids. (Eggs and scrapple on the way).

Will do our second annual ride to lunch with my oldest daughter (son went last year). Weather is beautiful for a ride.

I lost my Dad when I was 7, so this is a treat.

Laura asked me what I wanted to do on Father's Day. Perfect weather (high 70's, cloudless sky), so we went for a short (140 mile) lazy ride. No destination in mind, just a direction. Great to be out on the bike, taking in the rolling farmland and small towns. Tomorrow night, my stepdaughter and her boyfriend are coming by to make me dinner! Not bad...

I woke up, and as we were getting breakfast going, my 5 year old told me, " Happy Father's Day. I have your present. It's on the lake with me being happy on the jet ski. Let's go."

Bwahahahahaha...then we spent all day on the water. Ur was a good weekend.

Happy Father's Day boys!

After a good day on the KLR with some other dads my son Joe (23) came over and cooked us dinner using his Taco recipe. Mighty tasty and with a few cold ones it was a wonderful time for Gayle and I hangin' with the kid!

My oldest stepdaughter came by this evening with her boyfriend to cook me dinner. He did a flank steak on the grill in his own marinade, then they sliced it up and set out the fixings for steak tacos. Nicely done! My mother-in-law brought a couple of fresh-baked pies (rhubarb and apple) and we all enjoyed a nice dinner out on the deck. It was an excellent Father's Day-after! Yesterday I got to go for a ride with my bride and tonight I was served a fine dinner with great company. Can't complain at all!!

Finally! Someone else who likes Rhubarb!
Sounds like it was a good day for all.
Well, in the interest of full disclosure, I'm the one in the family that can't stand rhubarb! The apple pie was for me. My wife grows it out next to the garage and it thrives there, so there has been pie, rhubarb sauce and several other iterations.
