I'll be gone over the weekend and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to say

:clapping: :yahoo: :clapping: Happy Mother's Day :clapping: :yahoo: :clapping:

To all of the female members. I know that some of you are "merely" pillions but you are valued members of this riding group.

Yep, I know that some of you are moms, sole supporters, married with children (including your husbands) yet you still find time to keep the rest of us honest and on-our-toes. That in itself is an amazing fete.

Thanks for being here and providing the fun you do.

While I appreciate the process, I (as a male) can never understand the creative miracle of birth and nurturing that seems to "automatically" flow through you. I don't know how you find the time to be yourself with all of the roles you must play throughout your day....but I'm glad you do.

Besides where would we be...in fact, would we be at all, without mothers? Doh!!!

To those of you who are not mothers (physically), you certainly fulfill the role with we children who inhabit this forum and need your correction, encouragement, scorn, ridicule and affection. You wear it well (to quote Rod Stewart)!

Besides, you might have ended up with a wayward child like mm2 or bustanutjoker or wheaties!?!?!?

Okay....GROUP HUG!!!!! There...feel better?

I hope you all are able to enjoy your day of special recognition. May your children rise up and call you blessed (Yes, I know, unlikely.....until they're over 30 and have families of their own). May your mate/S.O. or friends shower you with tokens of esteem and affection. Shucks, you deserve more than we can give, and for some, just remembering that it IS Mother's Day is significant male growth.

Take it all in.....Monday it will be another 365 days until a repeat.....

Good job Mike. My wife is taking her mother to a breakfast buffet that is being hosted here. For my self I am going for a ride because it's mothers day not wifes day and my mom sadly is no longer among us. Hope that doesn't get me in trouble.

Ya took the words right out of my mouth  .... and saved me a heap of keying ! Thanks Mike.

A well deserved recognition to the impossible job given to so many women: just consider the burden of being Bustanut's mother for instance? Nice write-up MM2.

Happy Mamma's Day to all mamma forum members!

Thanks for those lovely words Mike. Much appreciated.

My son surprised me last night with a bottle of very classy tequila. He was going to give me it today, but instead he brought it out early. Tonight, he's going to cook dinner.

Haven't heard from our daughter yet today but she was up very late last night, filming a demolition derby event with MTV's 'The Dudesons'. Her race car died its final death last night. Waiting to hear the details about who took who out, to smash the car up that badly.
