Freedom isn't free, thank those who have paid the price (and too many that have had to pay the ultimate price). Remember them today, tomorrow (actual Veterans Day), and always. Proud to have served and humble enough to know that others have done far more. I salute our past, present and future Veterans. Salute!

A BIG Thanks to all that have served, & are serving now, without you our country would not survive. I salute you and may God Bless all....Old young Guy Pic in GARAGE....

From the VFW:

Now more than ever …

… as America continues its fight against terror … as American troops put themselves in harm’s way … as America’s citizens learn that freedom isn’t free

Now more than ever, we are so grateful for your service and sacrifices for our country.

In honor of Veterans Day, thank you!

My heartfelt respect, gratitude and thanks to the young soldiers on the line, the older sargeants & officers trying to lead them and keep them alive and the veterans who've "been there, done that".

As a father of two teenage boys coming close to draft age-if that ever happens- and one of them looking to the military after highschool, I tremble at the cost these men & women pay...My highest salute to those who serve and have served from one who did not.

Good day to go see "Flags of Our Fathers"- that Greatest Generation is almost gone. I wish my dad- Navy pilot in WWII and Korea was still here.

Good day to see any war movie.

Thank your local vet for the freedom we enjoy….A salute to those who served before me, my fellow soldiers/airman/sailors and to those who will serve after me.

+1! Step-bro was a Sgt., USA; I was a PO2, USN; Dad was a S/Sgt, battlefield promotion, 3rd Marines on Guadalcanal, all of my Uncles served in WW II (Two stayed and retired as officers).

I say a hearty, "Here, here!" to one and all. Thanks may be all we say but its not all we feel.

My thanks to all those Veterans (past and present) who have fought for the rights and freedoms of every one of us...to include these ******** right to stand there and disrespect the very flag that our Veterans defend.

It is the Soldier,

not the reporter who has given us freedom of press

It is the Soldier,

not the poet who has given us freedom of speech

It is the Soldier,

not the campus organizer who gives us freedom to demonstrate

It is the Soldier who salutes the flag,

who serves beneath the flag,

and whose coffin is draped by the flag,

who allows the protester to burn the flag.
