After much personal heartache installing and re-installing the Kisan vectraLIGHT and not getting it to work, I called technical support. They were courteous, responsive, helpful, interested, and knowledgeable. After trying the fixes recommended, and at their invitation, I mailed the unit in to their HQ in Colorado for them to test.
Within a week of mailing the unit back I received a new, packaged unit at no cost, with the explanation on the $0 balance invoice: "Above unit returned. Load Resistor removed from brake input. Replace with new."
In other words: It was my own damn fault, and yet they replaced it.
