The officer "swerved to the shoulder to avoid stopped traffic."

Sounds like he wasn't watching ahead. . . . . Hate to cast judgment when I wasn't there, but running up on someone and not realizing they're there can only mean . . . he was surprised by them. That can only come from inattention.

Then somebody else does it, too!

Hmmmmm.....two different "charity rides" have had crashes? I'll bet those end fairly soon!

Those riding in parades simply must learn to NOT look at their reflections in store-front windows.

No matter how "cool" one thinks they look, it is still a distraction.

Or maybe it's the "brapp-brapp" echoing between the cars, buildings and canyons. :dntknw:

Seriously now, I'm sorry these riders are injured. It is "silly season" now as some parts of the country are finally getting some decent riding weather.

Let's be careful out there!

Must be some real bad vibes in that area. There were three collisions between cars, just LOOKING at the motorcycle accident.

I had absolutely nothing to say when a friend at work explained how she had totalled her car. She was driving to work, heard squealing brakes behind her and looked in the mirror. LOOKED UP TO SEE STOPPED TRAFFIC in front of her. Then she ran into the stopped traffic. (During peak commuting hours on a Los Angeles freeway where stopped traffic is the norm.).

Be careful folks, they're out there.
