Heading out for WFO...

Tuesday morning, just heading out - had a new BT021 put on yesterday so I am ready for my first BBG attempt in PC. Overnighting in Kennwick, WA and Twin Falls, ID.

Blistering in Tri-Cities today but ride down was good - loved the Coulee Dam but afterwards made a wrong turn and wound up in crop fields for hours - thought I was in Saskatchewan for a moment. ALso loved seeing green pine trees for a change - in BC, most of the forst pine has been ravaged by the mountain pine beetle - yeck. ALso had a chance to stop by the infamous Desert Valley Power Sports - pka Something Else, to pickup a little Plexus - nice folks, got a chance to meet Guru Glen in person. Outstanding facility - check it out if you ever get a chance.

ANyway, heading down to Wendover tomorrow for a little slots and then the Salt Flats before heading into PC on Thursday.

BTW - the PNW is a beautiful part of the US - great riding, great scenery, and great hospitality - I can't believe how friendly everyone is?!?!

Speaking of hospitality - I am at the Best Western in Kennewick and they are letting me park under the front promenade where all the guests arrive! Just so they can keep an eye on my bike for me! Fecking awesome I tell you.

Hope you enjoyed Twin Falls, Id. My home town of almost 38 years! People aren't as "nice" in the "big cities" of CA.
