OK, I have a 05, and have read/seen the pics for adjusting the headlights, but something ain't registering. I have two knobs down in the nether region connected to a shaft, shaft to a pinion, pinion to ring gear. Is this the verticle adjusters?? I can't for the life of me see anything else to put a wrench on. Thanks

Those knobs are for the side-to-side. The up-n-down is adjusted by phillips screwdriver, just above and inboard from the light housings. Get in there with a strong light and you'll find them.

Toecutter,

Say what!

I'm sure you have the adjustments described backwards. I've been adjusting the up & down with the starwheels.

Hey there timk, dobias is correct . The star wheels are for vertical adjustment and the screws are for horizontal, simply put! :assassin:
I"m not sure why there would be "wheels" for adjusting side to side, but I don't have an '05.

But I can tell you that the knobs adjust them up and down on the '06's because I have sat in my garage with the lights shining on the wall and adjusted them.

'03 had no wheels or adjusters, '04 & '05 have star wheels buried fairly deeply but accessible, '06 have the obvious external adjusters.....all for vertical.

I stand corrected. Mine seem to be adjusted okay, but maybe I have to go back and do it again. It's alot less embarrasing than pushing the Blaster button instead of the starter at the gas station, which I've done in the past (once). Oops!
