This Rally is now in the history books and a full report will come later.

I finished 6th in the 54-Hour event, and the reason it was 6th will be made clear later. I am a very happy camper tonight, because I am safe at home sitting on my sofa ... with Mrs Twigg

We come here and talk about bikes until we are Galaxy blue in the face, but really we buy them to ride them.

This is what one looks like after it has been ridden hard and put up wet for 3500 miles in 4 days of miserable weather:

From what I have seen on the tube, Texas has had some pretty rough weather. Glad you are home safe.

I was only hailed on twice. One of those times was in fog so thick I was down to 30 mph on Interstate 40

The 40 mph horizontal rain was the biggest problem, and If I had crashed in flames because of the car tire, the fire would have been short-lived!
