Got my brandy new 06A past Wed night!! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: Perfect confidence against crazy cagers. Bike glues to the road (unlike my v-max beasty) :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

After some riding, realized that my knees are bending just a bit too much to be comfortable. The seat is at lowest since that allows me to flat foot in stop-go traffic in crowded NJ.

SO. I would think that the footpegs be slightly lowered, guess 1"-1.5"

The only other option is to raise the seat and tip-toe (haven't tried this yet), but want to avoid.

Assuming such peg lowering kits are bought, how do I move the foot shift and brake pedal lower?

Damn this weather Ernesto :angry2: - rain rain go away

 IMHO I wouldn't go that route as you definitely compromise the ability of the bike to be leaned over in the twisty turnies...one reason I presume most of us purchased a SPORT-TOURER.

Second, I don't think moving all the connection points, pivot points, linkages could be done...at least easily.

I would go the route of move the seat up. That's what the seat design flexibility was aimed at.

The bike was meant to be ridden...not overly concerned about situation @ stop signs or lights.

I have had to tippy toe every bike I've ever owned as I am not even 5' 6".

There are ladies on this website that are barely 5' 2" and have to one side or tippy toe their bikes.

Point taken. I will raise the seat and see how it feels.
