Hi All,

I have a pair of Held Ninja cowhide gloves that I really like. I thought that perhaps while I'm in Germany this week, I'd pick up a pair of higher end ones like the kangaroo leather Galaxy or the top of the line Phantom. I can save maybe $50 if I buy them here. I really like the fit of both and the Phantom is cool because it uses manta ray leather patches for protection and I don't think that they sell them in the US.

However, they're really spendy. Does anyone have Held Galaxys that would recommend them?

Thanks,

Jim

From the 'Man of few words' department - Yes.

I'm on my second pair, only because I lost the first pair off the back of my bike after changing to rain gloves and forgetting to strap them down :angry01:

Both pairs were comfortable from day 1.

I bought a pair of Held Galaxy's prior to CFO and promptly returned them when I got home. The finish was peeling off on the fingers and palms, the seam between the pointer and index fingers was cut short and brutally uncomfortable. I do have large hands and these were XXLs but were cut for someone with long skinny fingers. PITA just to get on after 2500 miles. Couldn't recommend them. Anyone with Helimot's or Lee Parks gloves?

I'm hoping to try on some Lee Parks when I take the class. I'm not spending that kind of money without a try-on. Don't know anything about Helds myself.

I am NOT proud to say I have crash tested a pair of Helds (not Galaxy). The performed admirably, just after I didn't.
