Hella FF50 double poll / double throw question

Just ordered a set of light brackets from Garauld.

Been searching:

Most everybody is using a dbdt switch mounted in the heatcontroller space on their A models. Well, I have an AE model with heated grips.

Any recommendation for a good place to mount this switch other than where my heat controller is?

Any other dpdt switches available that are surface mount?

I have the factory grip heater switch in the place commonly used by other for the double switch set up with a blank over one of the switch locations. I located the switch so it did not interfer with the radiator cap. You can see next to the glove box is my Starcom jack for plugging the helmet.

That is not a scratch just the clutch lever reflected in the paint.

Thank you. Hadn't even considered mounting it on a painted panel.

When I cut it out, I put blue painters tape down first then traced out the bezel and cut inside the trace. Then I used a flat file to slow enlarge the hole just enough for the bezel to fit.
