Hey there. New to the forum, new to Yamaha, not new to bikes. Picked up my 2015 in March. Used primarily for commuting. I've only driven my truck to work once since I picked it up and I love the bike. Have done a couple of trips to the mountains and am planning an end-to-end PCH ride for November.

Been a bit busy lately. Commute is around 42 miles. Of course, on SoCal freeways, in my truck, that feels like about 90 on most days. The bike keeps me sane.

Understood. My commute was down I-5 into San Diego and avoided that when practical. It is largely how I put over 80K on my '08 FJR (and many miles on my ZG1000 Concurs before that).
