Helmet closeouts

I posted this earlier but violated a rule about posting (the post got locked).

I got an e-mail from Jafrum today (a vendor that I have had great service and prices from).

Today's message had some helmets that they have on sale.

... and so you post almost the identical text again. Not judging as to whether it's spam or not; Bounce was pretty clear about why it got locked and there's not a lot of difference between that one and this.

Will be in Charlotte Sunday and will look up Jafrum's store. Hope they're open, because I want to try on a couple of lids to find out if my head is a "modern long oval" or whatever.

I'm not new to forums. Just Google OregonRider.

The first post about helmet closeouts was for the benefit of everyone on the forum who is interested in an inexpensive helmet.

The second post was buried deep in a thread regarding a specific question about helmets.

Don't worry though, I'm not just dissuaded from posting. I'm a long time rider but a new FJR owner and I'm glad to have this resource.

Plus, I'm smart, good looking and humble.

My sense of humor sucks. See Signature.

Chill, m'friend... folks are just trying to keep things above board... my advice... sit back, have a beer, read a few threads, check out some ride reports, get a feel for the place... it's a wee bit different than most "normal" forums (not that any of them are such!

). Don't take things personally, plan to attend a tech day or gathering, and meet some of the very fine folks from this forum... they're just a little protective of their online home.

P.S. Noticed your OR... there is a fantastic group of folks in OR/WA... reach out and find some new friends!

But you decided to start another thread to repeat it? Weird and bad form. Please don't start another thread. Folks interested in the vendor will have now gotten it twice.
