does anyone have one of these scorpian hard helmet bags?

https://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Detail.bok?no=11

im thinking it would be a grate way to haul that extra helemet and shield without chance of damage if it will fit in the side case.

To me it looks like a nice product for the price.

I have a arai that i would like to use it on if it fits.

I'd doubt it would fit, but it seems overly redundant to carry a hard case inside a hard case. Why not just a cloth bag inside a hard case? My extra helmet doesn't rattle around all that much, certainly not enough to do any damage, especially inside a cloth cover.

If it doesn't fit, it would still be a great thing to store helmets in, protected from rodents, etc...Mine never sits around long enough to need storage. I even brought it inside for a picture today.

Again, I doubt it would fit in a sidebag. My Shoei RF-900 fits but not much wiggle room; a helmet bag would be all the protection I think you would need.

I'm considering getting one, cutting the bottom out, and the visor shape in front, and wearing it over my helmet. It looks nicer than my HJC...plus when I bump my head on the gas pump I won't ding my helmet paint (again)...

I've seen that item in person and it's not all that hard. In fact, it's quite flexible. I think you might be able to fit that and a helmet snug-ly inside a sidecase. It'll be close but I think it will fit.

(BTW - I've been thinking about getting one but for a different reason ... to carry a helmet onto a plane. It's handy to carry, sturdy enough to protect the helmet from all but the hardest of falls, yet light and streamlined enough so as not to be over-the-top.)

that is more like what i was thinking.. it would be great haul the helmet on a plane or in a car trunk but fitting in the side bag would be the bonus

if i would have had it when i flew to pittsburgh to pick up the bike that would have been nice..

the spare shield holder is the second reason that i would like it but that wouldnt do much good if i couldnt keep it in the bag..
