Help needed for the Kenwood's Freetalk XL Tk-3101 radio

I have acquired some Kenwood Freetalk XL TK-3101 radio's, the kind that Autocom has built their intercom system around.

I believe that some of the radio's have been programmed for private channels and I would like to return them all to factory specs so they can all work together. The instruction manual is confusing this radio newbee and I would like some advice on how to re-program these units.

You'll need a programming cable and the software. The software is easily downloadable for free from the web - Search and you will find it. You can buy the cable 'out there' for about $25.

I have two versions of the software on my hard drive (and sundry other files) I could e-mail you if you have a large enough mailbox.

Interesting enough, while I have all the data, I don't have a cable.
