I lowered mine front and back, almost 1" w/o me on it. I could still use the side stand and didn't have any problems but it was a little too 'upright' for comfort so last weekend I ground the stop a bit and now it's better. It only a smidge harder to get on the center stand. I didn't notice any handling differences sliding the forks up at the same time either, but I'm a slow a$$ rider....

I'm only 5'3 and in order to ride my 06 FJR, I bought a Corbin front seat and had them modify it to be as narrow and low as possible without sacrifing comfort. I love it...almost as much as my Smuggler trunk :yahoo:

Prior to getting the Corbin seat, I had 1 1/4 inches added to the bottom of my boots, which put me on tip toes, but now with the Corbin seat, I can get the balls of both feet firmly on the ground.
