Hi everyone. I'm Barry from the southern interior of British Columbia, Canada.
Have been riding since 1984. Started out at a young age riding a Yamaha Maxim and quickly graduated up to an Yamaha XJ750 sport tour. Although the last dozen years I've been riding a Kawasaki Vaquero bagger. Finally decided to go back to my roots and move back to a quick and nimble sport tour bike. Picked up a 2014 FJR1300 a couple months ago that re-energized my riding spirit. Unfortunately my riding season was way to short, had to tuck the baby away for the winter in early November. Bummer!

I'll hit the slopes with my snowboard for the next few months until the big melt in April and get that sweet ride back on the road again. Looking at doing some upgrades at that time.

Look forward to chatting with a few of you, particularly those around my neck of the woods or around the northwest states!

Hi. Since I’m new to the world of the FJR I’m not familiar with this get-together. I did find the it’s scheduled for June 23-26. Can you tell me a bit about what usually goes on at this event? I’m certainly interested. Thanks

We’ll meet & greet on Thursday night in the bar at The Lodge, ride Friday and Saturday. Dinner as a group on Saturday night with a raffle - the proceeds of which will go to the local food bank. Depart Sunday for home.

Welcome, from Kamloops.
I haven't been checking in on this forum for awhile but it started showing up in my email recently for some reason.
I've got a 2016 fjr and hope to get some more riding in next year now that I'm retired.
