HID conversion for Hella FF50

I ran across this on sport-touring.net. HID conversion kit for Hella FF50's from China. Clicky.

Looks like the solution I was looking for at a price I can afford. I already have Gary's light brackets, currently holding Baker Air Wings. I think I'll hang this FF50/HID combo off of them too. I'm just not sure where I'll stash the ballasts...

Since you have an OldGen bike, there is plenty of room under the dash panels in the front corners of the fairings. That's where the guys who first mounted HIDs put theirs. (I thought there was a thread in FJR Tech, but I was mistaken).

Here's a link (from the Bin-O'-facts) to Iggy's install of HIDs. It might help you with ballast placement and wiring.
