Just a question....Who's got the FJR with the highest Milage/km on it then. Mines a 05 with 92,000km on the clock.

Yeah, but that's only mileage along the ground. In the air, I'm pretty sure that OM has Skooter beat. Reports indicate that style points based upon degree of difficulty might have been close, but the sheer ballsiness of OM's hill record flight probably wins it for him on that score, too.

Actually, the boy was kicking my butt!
We were trading back and forth for a while, but then he started pulling ahead. Here's an example: Clicky, Clicky
We had a bet going - whoever was first to 200k got a steak dinner bought by the loser of the race. He was still leading when he crashed his old 03 at 168,900 miles. (For details, clicky here) It would have been interesting - with my participation in the 2009 Iron Butt Rally and the 15k miles I put on in 3 weeks (when I hit 200k) it would have been a good battle.
Which reminds me - that %#@*!@ owes me a steak dinner!

The highest mileage is great but your location sure makes a difference... Us in the north have to sit out some of the year.

And when it's between 114 and 128 degrees here in the months of mid-June through mid-October, just how much riding do you think we really get done during our "winter" (blast furnace)! You can always put on more clothes to ride warmly, you cannot ride naked in the Sonoran Desert. Even though SkooterG has done that too!
