This sucks but then so does having the finals when my igloo is starting to melt. It just ain't right I'm tellin' ya.This from a league that thought it would be a good idea to play hockey in the desert where it's 100 degrees. They should fire Bettman and put Bust in charge. At least Bust could blame it on being drunk all the time.

Don - It's ok. The Ducks got the cup in 2007 (took them about 14 years), so we put that to bed on finally getting the cup to the west coast.
Now the Kings.... I was all for them getting the Cup when they went in 1993, but lost huge. When the Ducks made their home in Orange County I had to sever ties to the Kings, although I am routing for them sort of.... Two west coast teams with the Cup, I don't know.
The Kings have been around for 45 years and NO Cup!
Is some exciting hockey, maybe not the best hockey but exciting.

I stopped caring when my Wings made an early playoff exit.
However the Kings have been the most dominant team the entire playoffs. Jonathan Quick has been phenomenal, Kopitar is a beast & Jeff Carter is a sniper. The Kings are to big, physical, talented and Quick is outplaying Brodeur!
The Kings are going to finish what Gretzky and the Mullet Wearing Barry Melrose failed to do in 93...La La Land will have it's first Stanley Cup.

My geography knowledge is pretty bad, I always thought Edmonton, Calgary and Colorado were west coast teams.
What about the Victoria Cougars, Seattle Metropolitans and the Portland Rosebuds? (And no, I'm not that old, just a big fan of obscure hockey trivia)
I've had a hard time coming back to respect the Kings after the Barry Melrose days. Time to get rid of the mullet dude!
