Left early this morning about 5:30 so I could have a little time to recoup before work Monday. Walked in the door about 1. Thanks to Rick and everyone who worked on the Rally. Especially the Rally2. That thing taught me a lot about riding, myself and Murphy's law. If anyone reading this gets the chance to run a novice class rally like we had, and you haven't. You owe it to yourself to try it. Looking forward to next year already and kind of getting the post rally let down. Thanks again.

Yikes, the guy who came the farthest gets home first  I don't think I got to bed much before you left. Cruzin, DaJuice and I had b'fast in Kellogg MN, small town cafes rock, then we went our separate ways. I got in 'bout 1400, I need a nap :lazy3:

Good times, good times!

Got home about 4:30 after a 2 hour detour to help someone who always kicks my butt in rallys figure out how to use his GPS to make him even better. Man am I a sucker

Now its time to pour myself a glass of that spiced apple wine I picked up and pull the front wheel off for a new tire, MN2010 next week and I don't have enough rubber left.

All four of us made it home safely.....that would be me, the tires, and the JC Whitney top case that seemed to be prone to coming unlatched. Everything stayed on the bike on the way home. I'm sure glad I bought those ROK straps before the trip. They worked great for straping the tires down.

Thanks again to Rick and all others who help with the Rally and CFO. It was my first CFO and I had a blast. I can't wait for next year!

Headed east around 8am, arrived home around 1pm

Starky enjoyed the meet, even though he was the "Odd Duc" of the bunch!

Jeff needed to excercise good throttle management as we noticed at one of our gas stops that his rear tire was on it's last ride as shown in the pic. At this point we had about 90 miles to go and the Pirelli held on.

I remember him asking why everyone else's tires had tread on them when we were lining up for the group photo.

My young friend Jason (also 2008 FJR) and I rode down in the mist from Rochester Saturday morning. Met the Woodman from Wausau in the parking lot around 8:30 Saturday morning. Saw Joe's bike in the parking lot, and 8 or 9 other FJRs, but I guess people were still chowing down on breakfast, or still sleeping. Too bad the weather was marginal. Jason and I left around 9 or so, and went over to Wildcat Mountain, then back on P, and on up to Mindoro, Arcadia, and Wabasha on the way back to Rochester. Saw several of you out on the roads. Glad you all had fun, and hopefully next year I can spend more time and meet more of you.

Great work organizing the event.....next year maybe you need to slip Mother Nature a few bucks ahead of time, or maybe a handful of Midol......

Hope you can make it next year.

Geez, we just missed you. We headed out for breakfast just after 0800.

The weather really wasn't that bad, besides Friday AM when we got a few hours of thunder and lightning the rest of the weekend I didn't see more than another hour combined of light drizzle. Of course it was overcast but that kept it cool and made for some pretty good ridding weather. Beside just think of all the money we saved on sun screen

I got home around 3 pm. 6 inches of rain the last 2 weeks really wet here, so the lawn needs mowing again right, hop on mower and engine locks up so hard it breaks the belt idler off deck. Glad we had some fun this weekend. Anyone have a spare 14 hp Kawasaki laying around.

Dale

We stayed an extra day, 'cause going back to work is over rated (just ask Wanderlust). Had an excellent dinner Sunday night in a little Italian Restaurant in Coon Valley. Mainly rain the whole way home, but home safe and sound. Back to the four letter word tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for a great time!
