My first bike was a Honda 50 in 1968. It was a year old when I bought it for 60 pounds in the U.K.

That's about $100 today.

I went on to own a 125 Honda, a CB400F, five 750's, and a Gold Wing. Never had a problem with any of them.

I guess I have helped Honda on their road to success since I have owned five of them.

I agree with redjay, never had a problem with any of them.

I'm on my sixth Honda right now--my ST1300 may be my last Honda unless Honda chooses to compete better here in the US market. I've had a few Yammies over the years as well, with good results, so I'm here learning about the latest generation FJR.

Honda's sales quantities are increasing, especially in the Asian, small-displacement market. That sales momentum over the last few years likely will keep Honda focused there (not in North America).

Well duh! The U.S. makes up less than 2% of the their total sales.

When I worked in the photo industry any product that fell to less

than 2% of total sales got put to pasture.

Follow the money.
