Got some BAD UT bugs that turned to paste. Plexus not sufficient to clean them off windscreen. Anyone use Honda magic spray and polish on a screen? Thanks Barry

Before you use anything like that, try a good terrycloth towel in very warm water. Soak, wring, lay over the windscreen. Repeat until all bugs are softened and toweled off.

Like K12 says, soften them up with a damp towel first and follow up with the HSpray Polish. Ever since I switched to the Honda product, I won't bother with anything else again. Good Stuff!

I don't like the Honda cleaner for windscreens or face shields. Leaves a faint but noticeable haze.

A damp, warm towel laid over the screen is a great solution. Just a couple minutes of soak time.

Go down to Home Depot and get a gallon of Zepp power washer detergent. It's the blue stuff. Mix in about 1/10 Zepp/water in a bucket, and watch those bad bugs disappear. WBill

Some guys use hydrogen peroxide on the bugs. Just bubbles them off.
+1 This is the easy way to clean the nasty, really tough bugs off that have been on there for 6 months. :ermm: A 50/50 mix with warm water does a nice job.

Flip side, rain rides are the same as washing the bike.

Easiest way... just soak a fabric softener sheet with water, gently smear all over the shield and let sit a minute.

Wash off with clean water.

Easy to carry a few of them with you.

I also use it to get the bugs off the paint and front lights... you might test it tho, the paint on the Harley is already scratched...<G>
