Just replaced the top triple clamp with the Heli bar version. Seems to be just right for me. They make it sound harder to install than it really is. You don't need to completly remove the tank.
I'm impressed with the Yamaha tank design. Just being able to prop the tank up to work on the bike is a huge plus. All my other bikes required completely removing the tank.
So far I'm really impressed with this bike. The trans is a little notchy and noisy, but seems to be smoothing out and quieting a little as I ride it. Almost 525 miles on it :clapping:
