Dennis Hopper is joning forces with Quentin Tarantino after signing up to star in motorcycle film “Hell Ride.” The 71-year-old, who shot to fame in 1969 as the director and star of motorcycle road movie Easy Rider, will join Michael Madsen, Larry Bishop and Eric Balfour in the film.
Tarantino is producing “Hell Ride,” which is being written and directed by Bishop and is described as a contemporary take on classic western The Good, The Bad & The Ugly.
Hopper, who starred in 1993’s Tarantino-scripted True Romance, told MTV, “I am doing a motorcycle movie this year that Quentin Tarantino is producing. I am playing Eddie ‘Scratch’ Zero. And I couldn’t possibly begin telling you who that is, but he is weird enough… I know Quentin and I love all of his work.”
