Jeepers, fellas, this ***** a real hoot! :glare: Daddy was right; I shoulda went to law school.

So far, the only thing that they're (verbal only at this point) giving into is staff rooms at $79/night including Wednesday. I've redone their contract for the second time and it's back in Colin's court. My great concern is the attrition clauses, unspecified service charges and hold liable clauses. Scary stuff for a group with no collateral or bank! Some we won't be able to give on and I'm relying on positive feed back from previous venues 3, 4 and 5 to kick us over into the good guy column with the hotel.

Stay tuned - I'm trying to get this put to bed this week so that Dale can go live with the WFO6 web site by 12/18. Is that a 'can do', Dale?

Last year, I think staff (except Dale in his pimpdaddy suite) were OK with paying the same room rates as the regular folks. The bonus I think was to cover staff's meals.

As for contract terms...well I'll suggest they were similarly annoying terms for WFO-5. The advantage there was that Dale already had a relationship with Reno....and.....ummmm.........let me suggest that investing in one's children to take care of them in retirement can an advantage when signing hotel contracts.

That said, I'm sure things will work out and we'll be able to fulfill the terms in good faith.

We're screwed then, as I have no first born to sign away!

And I'll let you haggle over our din-dins then, as there is no provision for that in the main contract. Sic 'em, tiger!

;)
