Houghton MI- sighted at the Holiday Inn

Hey all,

I'm working in L'Anse but staying in Houghton MI. When I got back to the hotel I saw an 05 parked out front. The woman at the desk wouldn't tell me who's it was though...... if you see this tell the front desk and we can get together for a beer.

I found him.... He's from WI, taking a little tour and ended up here. Nice guy!

Made me homesick looking at his bike in the parking lot....

Wow, Houghton. That brings back memories. We used to go to the campground and lake up there when I was a kid.

I am the guy sitting in the hotel ( with the blue FJR outside ) stuck in the rain/wind/48 deg. weather. Day 4 of 6 day trip. Met JET. Nice guy. Randomness of the universe.

On our trip, along Lake Superior, 308 miles 1st day, 240 second day, 160 3rd day, because of rain/thunder. 4th day 1 mile. Suck. Flood warnings up here. It will not stop raining Ugggg.

60% chance of rain tomorrow. Taking off tomorrow anyway. Macinaw bridge will have to wait for another trip.
