Houston to NAFO?

looks like I am planning on riding up to the rally from Houston.

Most likely I will leave early Thursday morning or Wednesday evening and make a two day trip out of it.

Not sure of the route just yet but am open to suggestions. It will NOT be all super-slab is all I can say at this point.

Dan - when are you leaving for the rally and what will be your route?

To tell you the truth Mike, I'm not sure.

Planning for this trip hasn't been on my front burner... work has me swamped lately.

I have relatives in Destrehan that I may overnight wth on the way out, I've ridden the Natchez Trace before, so I'm not sure that has any allure, but I may head to Memphis, Birmingham, or even Atlanta as a second stop on the way to Knoxville.
