I know what you mean, when is he going to get rid of that puny thing and get a real gun :lol: Where is trinibob? :trinibob: You can tell that it is intended just for beginners training. It only weighs 12 pounds, has a 14 inch barrel and shoots .50 cal magnums. I wouldn't trust that to protect my 6-pack let alone my home and wife's honor. He must also own a 300 lb bull mastiff to hold 'em off till he can get to a real gun. :wacko:

Ah, an S&W 500. As ionbeam says, a 50 caliber handgun.
It's used primarily for handgun hunting and often has a scope attached. they are actually pretty comfortable to shoot and feel well balanced.
It does not lend itself to concealed carry.
