How do you get to screws on an 06 windscreen?

Read some posts on loose screws being to blame for some rattle when screen is in the down position. I was going to address this issue but would really like to know how the "W" is fastened on the front. Does it just snap on and off? I don't want to SNAP it and break it. I'd be thankful for any advise.

There are two allen head screws at the bottom of the W. Remove both of these and you will be able to pop it off.
