How fast will this bike really go?

Given about a 230lb rider (me) and enough flat road, will this thing redline in top gear or not stock? HOw fast would that be?Generation II, that is.

Your weight has nothing to do with top speed. You'll simply need more flat road than a 120 pounder.

A mile or two north or south of 155 is often quoted. Be prepared for some aerodynamic instability above about 120 with bags on and the screen up.

For your topspeed run. definitely keep the windscreen down. Bags off will increase stability. Get under the screen. Your sure to be within a notch or two of 155.

It will redline.
