How many bikes were at WFO-5?

How many are exspected at WFO-06?

The WFO-6 site has the following under "Players":

Current number of Riders: 137

Current number of Pillions: 42

Does this mean there are already 137 confirmed bikes?

Thanks,

MadMike might have a more solid count on FJRs at '05.

We had 190 banquet goers in '05 on Saturday. A dozen or two folks that didn't partake in that banquet and we were probably at 210 or so participants.

As this thread details, we have registration and those that are confirmed paid. That means 137 people signed up on the website for a total of 179. Confirmed paid are a bit less at 157. This is very far in advance of where we were last year at this time.

TWN is working on getting an update of hotel rooms reserved.

Don't know how many will come to '06, but we can make room for many, many more.

Yes, everybody is pre-posting $500 bonds for the inevitable bail that comes from cordura and kevlar clad sport-tourers that take over small towns. <_<

We seemed to be noticed but not feared at the unincorporated Oxbow, Washington at WFO-04 and Idaho Troopers didn't order any APB's at Moscow the year earlier. If Park City can handle the fur-wrapped A-listers from Hollywood.....resources won't be stretched too thin for our motley crew ;)

I seem to recall it was right about 140 last year on the bike count.
You know, I never wrote the figure down. At the end of the Saturday banquet I slipped out and counted the bikes in the parking pavillion. IIRC (I think FJRay was there counting also) the number was 134 or 137.

There were a couple who stopped for a day then continued on with a planned tour (CAJW, I think and one other) and a number who rode in for Saturday and returned home (Faifield Dan and one local Reno owner who just happened by, +???). And there were those who were staying elsewhere and may have taken a cab or other transportation to the banquet.

So it looks like T.C. has it pretty close.

I seem to remember (?) seeing a pic of Radman wearing some fur-laden outfit to compliment his crown in Reno. I'll assume you're not putting him in that same Hollywod crowd and it was merely a coincidence. :D
