C'mon BD...I don't believe you're mileage is THAT low in 10+ months. I think you're being lazy updating your sigfile. :)

If he rides that little, he has to donate his FJR to me. That way it can get miles and my current bike can get 1/2 to work ;-)

Howie, just how many miles do you think he can put on the bike while sitting on it in the garage making vroom-vroom sounds?

Hell, that's about ALL I could do December, January and February, waiting for the stitches to heal up. Can't blame the weather, but neither can BD. He lives farther south than I do!

My '04 just turned over 32,000 this weekend, with nary a tick. (fingers crossed)

9,000 of those miles are mine, put on in Sept, Oct and Nov. Now that I'm riding again, the miles will start racking up.

Did tell Missus Howie I'll be needing new skins soon. The Metzler front is starting to look like that triangle thingie you rack pool balls with when you look at it straight on, and the Avon rear is getting down to where the wear bars will be showing soon.

At the rate BD's goin', it should be some time around the year 2028...in October...when he needs new tires. :D

I know we are not supposed to indulge in political crap-talk, but could we not at least just this once?

I propose we lobby congress to pass a new law requiring minimum annual FJR mileage standards. Those found in violation of said new statute would be subject to Feejer Seizure, Forum Eminent Domain style.

Compliant mileage members would then pass the bike around like a $2 hooker.

Said seized machine would prove invaluable in providing much needed scientific Feejer information. Such as, just how long a black mark will a feejer do?, etc.

...his wife is probably still pissed about that shirt thread._________________________________________________

Hey!!

Howie-boy: Et tu, brute? C'mon, you gotta support your Florida brethren!!

I probably shouldn't admit this, but I just did 700 miles this weekend, and the first thing I did when I got home was update my sig. Oh well, maybe someday it'll be a low mileage classic! :blush2: :blush2: :blush2:
