Why This Guy Was Late for Work...

READ THIS PARAGRAPH BEFORE YOU LOOK AT THE PICTURES

A guy was driving to work on Hwy I-44 when he heard a 'pop.' He thought it sounded like a flat tire, though the ride wasn't affected. After pulling over, checking the tires and finding them intact he opened the hood to look at the motor. Before the hood was even all the way open he jumped back in shock and knocked his head on the partially opened hood, unable to believe what his eyes were seeing!

Nobody was going to believe this! You sure wouldn't have either!

Fortunately, a coworker with a camera recognized him along side the road and stopped to see if he could help. Check out the photos below to witness for your self the source of his amazement.

Now, this has to be right up there at the top of the list of unusual but verified "Reasons I was late for work."

And might I add: E-e-e-w-w-w-w-w-! :bad:

They say it's real so it has to be...

Sounds totally credible. The snake crawled into the engine compartmaent and cuddled up to the warm engine, then things got hot and it went looking to get out. Happens to cats all the time. Maybe the snake was looking for some *****.

He'd make for a nice pair of boots, now that he doesn't need his skin anymore.

Well, he can take comfort in the fact that he no longer has that big snake living in his garage. Guess his mice will be safe for a while, too.

The plates are from Missouri (The Show Me state). The snake is either a boa or python. Explain.

The driver may want to see if any neighbors are missing their 'pet'. It may stop a recent rash of small children disappearing though

My car threw its serpentine belt
;) serpentine belt ;) :glare: .....well, ok,
