Manager: Brian Wheeler

They seem to be a well organized and knowledgeable bunch, who will go the distance to do a good job for you.

I brought my bike here to have some crash repair damages fixed after smacking a deer, based mostly on the good experiences of forum member ionbeam in getting his CCNT (Cam Chain Non-Tensioner) engine repaired there. My damages appeared to be strictly cosmetic. I rode the bike home from the crash, then rode it to the shop the next day and left it with them. My insurance company's adjuster did the appraisal there along with the shop's mechanics doing one. Since the two estimates jived I gave them permission to do the work.

The bike was completely fixed and ready to be picked up just 10 days later. Seems very quick, considering they have to order all the parts (mostly plastic) and wait for them to come in. It was much faster than what I was prepared for.

Later, at home, I was looking through the replaced parts list they gave me and noticed a Front brake disk was listed. That was not on the original repair estimate, so it surprised me. I emailed the manager, Brian, wondering why the disk had to be replaced. His response was that the head wrench, Jake, had noticed that the disk was warped while already in the middle of the repairs. He felt that it was likely warped due to the deer strike. Since they didn't want to duke it out with the insurance adjuster, who wouldn't have believed it was from the accident, they just discounted all of the other parts to pay for the needed brake rotor.

No extra money out of my pocket. No hassles. No questions asked. In fact they never even bothered to mention it to me later. They just "did the right thing" and fixed it for me, right.

This is service above and beyond expectations, IMO. And I'm a picky SOB.

I do not frequent shops for very much work, preferring to get my own hands dirty. And now that my YES has expired, the likelihood of that is even more remote. But, whenever I need the expertise of a dealer repair facility in the future, these guys will be getting my business.

If you are in the general area and need a shop, do yourself a favor and check them out.
