For those interested one of the local network stations has posted pictures of Hurricance Ike damage to the Port Bolivar area of the coast of Texas. Try www. KFDM.com. This is just a small section of the coastline near here.

Thanks for the link. I've been blogging about some of the Gustav and Ike damage to businesses. There's a lot of devastation along the coast.

The most surprising to me, LA Economic Development reported roughly 100,000 businesses impacted by the two hurricanes in Louisiana. There are only 125,000 non-farm businesses in the entire state! I'm sure Texas is in an equally bad situation.
