I needed to come to a quick stop on a short cycle light two nights ago. Instead of the ABS kicking in, my rear wheel locked and the ABS light came on. I took it to the Yamaha dealer to have it checked out.
He says the ABS Hydraulic control unit is bad. Piston appears to be rusted. Cost of the part from Yamaha: $1154.00!!
Anyone have or know of where I can get a unit cheaper than that?
