I feel so defeated.

Yes there is a thread,

1. make absolutely sure your front wheel is pointing straight (its the key here)

2. Grab the left grip and right handle under the right side of your seat.

3. lower the centerstand down with your foot and balance the bike until you feel both arms of the centerstand touching evenly and steady the bike.

4. Thrust your foot down hard on the centerstand and pull up at the same time.
Knock Knock can no one hear me here? :D :dribble:
Dood...it's not that no one can't hear ya...it's that you're on EVERYONE'S ignore list.
I figured from the political and cop bashing threads. It's all good as long as I know where I stand :D :p

Oh, rough crowd, I tell ya! Rough crowd... When I was born, the doctor...

Oh, I thought this was Open Mic Night and the Laugh Club, or sumpin'. :p

You wanna really get embarassed about lifting a bike onto the centerstand... There's a guy out there who can put his Wing on the centerstand while sitting on the bike... and both feet off the ground. Go figgure that one out!

radman, dude, that's just wrong, man. Funny a hell, but wrong. :haha:

Just guessin' here, but he lowers the c-stand, hits reverse and "drives" it up on on the stand?

Of course, if he's got both feet off the ground, he's either moving, which means he can't put the stand down, or he's falling, which means it's too late to put the bike on the stand.

Close Howie... He's balanced going backwards. When he's ready, he slams the stand down and up he goes. Course, he's been through a couple of starters and a stand or two...

Spridal,Nobody's had the decency to ask if you got it up yet.

Did ya?

The bike ---------- on the stand ?
Since his name hasn't appeared back on the board since we answered his question I would bet he is deep in work doing what ever it is he wanted it on the stand for in the first place.

Do hope it isn't on top of him though...

Oh well since the thread is going to the dogs anyway.......

I thought everyone put their wing on the centerstand while seated with their feet on the ground. While pushing the center stand button. :) I think next year it will auto deploy each time you stop. Unless the airbag is already deployed

Can't leave you people unsupervised for one stinkin' minute.

After hoisting my old near-900 lb. Wing, everything else is easy.

...wait a minute...

I have lower back problems, messed up neck vertibrae (got the epidural today for that one), and had double hernia surgery...And I used to put my wing on the center stand...

I am smelling a lawsuit against Honda! Hell, this is AMERICA, this can't be my fault.

Naw.....that was sparky. Oh, I commend you on the wonderful choice of emoticon......I thought we were talking about jet engines or something.....I would never, I repeat, never connect the word "thrust" to reproductive activities......

Oops. I got confused...easy to do when a thread is being hijacked at the speed of light.

I do hope this center stand thing is going well for him while we enjoy his rapidly degrading thread.
I figure when he gets back and see's how much destruction we have caused the depression of dropping his brand new bike won't be so bad. :D

I'm back!!!! Thanks for all your help. I tried twice with the instructions given here and was able to do it both times. Thanks all!!!!
